The Mediastinum, Including the Pericardium

Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceedingChapterpeer-review

Abstract

Mediastinal and pericardial lesions are varied and can be discovered incidentally on routine imaging. Some may present with symptoms related to tracheal, oesophageal, or vascular compression. Systemic manifestations ensue if they secrete hormones or vasoactive substances. We plan to discuss such lesions and review their imaging characteristics using various techniques.
