Abstract

X-linked chronic granulomatous disease (X-CGD) is an immunodeficiency caused by mutations in the gene coding for the β subunit of cytochrome b558. A database (X-CGDbase) of X-CGD mutations has been compiled, and its use and resultant information are discussed in this article.
