Abstract
Purpose. To provide a brief history of analytic methods that adjust for correlation between eyes. To discuss the relative merits of "short cuts" that work around the intercorrelation between eyes, and where they may be appropriate for some eye conditions or treatment interventions. Methods. Examine the intercorrelation between eyes in ocular hypertension, glaucoma and keratoconus cross-sectionally and longitudinally.
