Abstract
Four different regularization techniques are compared, using the eccentric spheres model to generate a torso potential distribution resulting from two simultaneous activation fronts within the myocardium. Regularization using the Tikhonov regularizer of zero order performs slightly better than the regularization using the surface Laplacian or surface gradient regularizers. The statistical (Foster) technique performs better at low noise levels than at high noise levels.
