Abstract
New developments of kinetic behavior of chemical systems with conservatively perturbed equilibria (CPE) are presented, specifically for the linear cases with one degree of freedom. New analytical expressions for transition curves with over- and under-equilibria, or “master curves” have been obtained. For two-step linear reactions, these expressions generate new kinetic invariances which are simple functions of kinetic coefficients. This paper utilizes these new theoretical developments to form a new solution for determining the chemical mechanism and kinetic coefficients for chemical kinetic systems, through the combination of kinetic invariants and master curves.
