Abstract

A family of biodegradable thermoresponsive hydrogels has been developed with tunable biodegradation properties and biomolecule conjugation ability. These hydrogels are well suited for cellular encapsulation and form constructs that are injectable below their LCST, but become mechanically robust at body temperature. These materials may find application in numerous settings in vivo where controlled delivery of cell therapy is required.
