Abstract

Easy-axis infinite and ellipsoidal antiferromagnets undergoing a spin-flop transition with formation of an intermediate phase are studied. Field-angle phase diagrams are derived for such antiferromagnets. The energy and effective thickness of a domain wall in the intermediate phase are determined. The dependences of the equilibrium domain structure parameters on the strength and orientation of the applied field are obtained and the boundaries of a transition to a homogeneous state are determined.
