Abstract

Temporal variability behavior from long-term light curves obtained with the All-Sky Monitor (ASM) on board the Rossi X-ray Timing Explorer (RXTE) is reviewed. The ASM light curves show a wide variety of phenomena. First results of searches for periodicities in X-ray binaries from the analysis of light curves from Aql X-1, Cyg X-1, 4U 1705-440, and 4U 1957+115 are presented.
