Abstract
The sleep-personality relationship has been studied in several ways. The personality traits of patients with sleep disorders have been reported in one body of literature. A separate literature has examined the sleep features of patients with personality disorders. The role of sleep in the development of personality in childhood is not reviewed here, nor is the role of sleep in the exacerbation of personality diatheses.
