Abstract

Take Home Message While the PLCO Cancer Screening trial demonstrated no observed mortality benefit associated with screening for prostate cancer with prostate-specific antigen and rectal exam, the knowledge gained about prostate cancer and screening and resources developed in completing the trial make the trial a success.
