This chapter focuses on sclerosing bone disorders such as osteopetrosis, carbonic anhydrase II deficiency, progressive diaphyseal dysplasia (Camurati-Engelmann Disease), and endosteal hyperostosis. It discusses other sclerosing bone disorders such as osteopoikilosis, osteopathia striata, axial osteomalacia, pachydermoperiostosis, hepatitis C-associated osteosclerosis and high bone mass phenotype. The chapter deals with the clinical presentation, radiological features, laboratory findings, etiology, pathogenesis and treatment for each of the various sclerosing bone disorders.
