Abstract
A variety of products require the assembly of parts that are flexible, have a high ratio of surface length to thickness and lack sufficient stiffness to maintain their shape under gravitational loading. Flexible printed circuit boards (PCBs) are an example. This paper presents a case study of the manipulation and installation of a flexible PCB into the Polaroid Captivaqq camera, including grasping, folding, and installation.
