Abstract

Inflammaging is a chronic, low-grade inflammation that builds up over the human lifespan, contributes to age-related diseases, and is often viewed as a universal hallmark of aging. By analyzing diverse populations, Franck and colleagues demonstrate that this process is not conserved across all individuals, but rather reflects a dynamic process influenced by individual heterogeneity.
