Abstract
Complex segregation analysis reveals no evidence for incomplete dominance, polygenic variation, or an effect of family environment on PTC sensitivity. Estimates of gene frequency and displacement from a phenotypic trichotomy agree closely with conventional values for the dichotomy of tasters vs. nontasters.
