Abstract
Prospective multicenter studies are an increasingly important component of medical research, including research related to orthopaedic surgery and sports medicine. Several recent publications related to rotator cuff disease, anterior cruciate ligament primary and revision reconstruction, and meniscus tears have resulted from prospective cohort studies and registries related to the shoulder and knee.
