Abstract

The use ofpoint-of-care testing (POCT) for fertility or reproduction-related markers is limited to only a few types of tests. These include urine-based biochemical tests and bioelectric measurements for predicting ovulation, and urine-based testing for detecting pregnancy. This chapter examines the utility of these tests for predicting ovulation, timing insemination, timing postcoital tests, and detecting pregnancy.
