Abstract
Although pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma is the most common type of pancreatic cancer, a variety of more rare benign and malignant tumors of the pancreas have been identified. Computed tomography (CT) and MR imaging are the primary modalities for further noninvasive characterization of these lesions. This review presents an approach to imaging of rare pancreatic tumors, including the CT and MR imaging technique, key imaging features and examples, and differential diagnosis.
