Abstract
Monte Carlo simulation can provide a direct determination of the distribution of quarks inside hadrons. Such distributions are useful for a variety of purposes, including the study of confinement. We discuss the theoretical and practical issues involved. A detailed study of two-dimensional QCD is described.
