Abstract

The quantity of contrast agent that should be used for intravenous urography for neonates has been consistently higher than that for older children and adults. The authors wish to report an 18-day-old girl who developed pulmonary edema shortly after receiving 4.7 ml/kg of Hypaque 50, a dose within the range recommended in some publications.
