Abstract

The concentration of immunoglobulins, lactoferrin and lysozyme was compared in bronchial secretions obtained from children with various chronic lung diseases. The IgG, lactoferrin and lysozyme, but not secretory IgA, concentrations were shown to be increased during chronic inflammatory response.
