    Abstract

We report the incidental discovery of a bronchogenic cyst in utero. Bronchogenic cysts generally present in childhood or adulthood as an incidental finding on chest x-ray, or secondary to infection or intrathoracic mass effect. Prenatal sonographic detection allows early radiologic evaluation in the neonatal period and elective surgery before complications develop.
