Abstract
We have designed a prototype two-dimensional ultrasound and near infrared (NIR) diffusive light imager for simultaneously imaging [1][2]. In this paper, we show preliminary results obtained from an improved imager which replaces the lower resolution ultrasound system in the combined imager with a high resolution 1.75 D ultrasound array.
