Abstract

The 15th Pacific Conference on Computer Graphics and Applications (Pacific Graphics 2007), held in Maui, Hawaii, USA, between October 29 November 2, 2007, focused on computer aided geometric design. Pacific Graphics is an annual international forum with a broad scope covering a diverse set of areas in computer graphics, including modeling, rendering, animation, simulation, image and video processing, and applications. The event focused on the presentation of papers in the area of geometric modeling. The papers presented in the event addressed geometric problems on various curve and surface representations. Four of these papers are concerned with geometric analysis of discrete triangular meshes, while Three papers propose solutions to problems in modeling with smooth curves and surfaces.
