    Abstract

The weather patterns of Texas, United States are analyzed over a multi-year period. In this analysis, multiple graphical and computational methods are used to determine accurate forecasting for the state. Forecasting accuracy is achieved through graphical methods of Q-Q plots, time series studies, Holt-Winters filtering, forecasting, autocorrelation, seasonal ARIMA, moving average, and exponential smoothing. Model accuracy is validated using computational methods of correlation, p-value, t-value, and error analysis.
