Abstract

Vector sensor array processing for acoustic source localization has been introduced in [2]. In this paper we analyze the statistical performance of two algorithms proposed in [2] for source direction estimation using a single (lumped) acoustic vector sensor. The mean-square angular errors (MSAEs) of these algorithms are evaluated and compared with their lower bound.
