Pediatric Considerations for Home Safety

Research output: Contribution to journalReview articlepeer-review

Abstract

In-home injury prevention is vital in pediatric care, as many injuries, especially among toddler and school-aged children, occur at home. Pediatric clinicians play a key role in educating families about household hazards and promoting safer environments. By incorporating prevention into routine care, advocating for age-appropriate safety measures, and using evidence-based strategies, pediatric clinicians can greatly reduce injury risks in children.
