Abstract

For this study, 141 patients were observed while they administered their eyedrop medication. Findings indicate a great need to instruct patients periodically in the proper technique of eyedrop administration. Proper technique may reduce systemic side effects, improve drug efficacy, and result in a substantial reduction in the cost of eyedrop medication.
