Abstract

Due to the dense anatomy of the orbital region, surgical approaches are critical to understand and master. Anatomy, visualization requirements, and sometimes balancing the needs of other disciplines are factors in selecting a particular orbitotomy approach. In this chapter the authors describe several common surgical approaches of the orbit.
