Abstract

A 26 year old patient with Behcet's Disease presented with severe gastrointestinal bleeding. Upper gastrointestinal endoscopy and radiology revealed oesophageal ulceration. The patient responded well to cimetidine therapy. Haemorrhage as a result of oesophageal involvement in Behcet's disease has not previously been described.
