Abstract

A theoretical model is proposed for describing the drift of a 180° domain wall in a weak ferromagnet in the field of elastic stresses produced by a strong sound wave propagating in the plane of the wall. The dependence of the drift velocity on the frequency, amplitude, and polarization of the sound wave is found. It is predicted that drift of a striped domain structure is possible.
