Abstract
The near infrared (NIR) diffusive light imaging with ultrasound localization was discussed. It was found that the optical image reconstruction converges very fast and needed only one iteration to reconstruct accurate optical absorption coefficients. The NIR images provided correction target locations and the reconstructed absorption coefficients were within 20% of the true value.
