Abstract
The computed tomographic (CT) appearance of an unusually large multiple sclerosis plaque with mass effect and postcontrast ring enhancement simulating a tumor is presented. The diagnosis was proven by surgical biopsy. A follow-up scan of more than 3 to 4 weeks may be necessary before diagnostic changes on CT are noted.
