Abstract
A brief overview of selected motor vehicle particulate matter emission factor trends is presented. Motor vehicle-related emission factors are generally robust when used for the applications for which they were originally intended. However, as the realm of applications is expanded with additional emphasis on detailed quantitative analysis, the emission factors should be reevaluated and refined as needed.
