Abstract

Chronic hypercortisolism from Cushing’s disease (CD) has many cardiometabolic effects, some of which persist after remission. Cardiovascular complications are the leading cause of mortality from CD. Prompt recognition of complications and appropriate treatment are critical for reducing morbidity and mortality in patients with this rare disease.
