Abstract

A method is described for estimating protein content and radioactivity from the same solution of dissolved acrylamide gel. The gels are made utilizing ethylene diacrylate as a cross-linking agent, which permits the gel to be dissolved in 1 N NaOH. Protein is then determined by standard methods and NCS is used as a solubilizer for liquid scintilation.
