Abstract

A case of metastatic breast carcinoma in which routine mammography revealed axillary nodal calcifications as the only sign of malignancy is presented. It is proposed that when such clustered microcalcifications within the axilla are identified on mammography, even in the absence of demonstrated breast parenchymal abnormalities, malignancy should be suspected.
