Measuring brain function during motor imitation with high-density diffuse optical tomography (HD-DOT)

Abstract

We utilized HD-DOT to image fifty adults as they observed and imitated sequences of upper extremity movements. We show HD-DOT is resilient to movement and successfully maps spatially distributed brain function during gross motor movements.
