Abstract

(Chemical Equation Presented) Kinetic resolution of variously substituted secondary propargylic alcohols catalyzed by benzotetramisole (BTM) proceeds with selectivity factors up to 32, the highest ever achieved with nonenzymatic catalysts for this class of substrates.
