Abstract
In this issue of Immunity, reports by Long et al. (2009) and Ruan et al. (2009) suggest that the transcription factor NF-κB-c-Rel is an important molecular mechanism by which T cell receptor-specificity for self-antigens instructs the selection of Foxp3+ regulatory T cells.
