Abstract

We develop an iterative algorithm, which uses sparse regularization, for electromagnetic imaging of targets located behind dielectric walls. The utilization of sparsity produces high-resolution images and suppresses artifacts. However, these images may be difficult to interpret because targets appear as groups of point scatterers. In the present work, we iteratively improve those dotted images to reveal target regions. The algorithm is suitable for both dielectric and metal targets.
