Abstract
The decay of Bi204(6+, 11.3 h) is found to populate a delayed 7- state (T12=0.45 μs, E*=2264 keV) in Pb204. A transition from this state accounts for 60% of the feeding of the well-known 9- isomer at 2185 keV. [RADIOACTIVITY Bi204; measured Eγ, Iγ, γγ(t) 204; deduced levels, J, π, T12.]
