Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to describe new directions in electrocardiographic imaging that are currently being pursued in our laboratory. The focus is on inverse reconstruction of cardiac potentials. Specifically, two on-going efforts are discussed: 1. The use of temporal information in the regularization scheme; and 2. Simulations of the properties of endocardial potentials and of potentials measured by a probe located in the blood cavity.
