note = "Funding Information: At the end of the formal funding for the GenTAC registry, the NIH created the GenTAC Alliance to build on the momentum created through the scientific collaborations and to establish a global community. Over the past few years, the GenTAC Alliance has brought together scientists, clinicians, patients, families, and lay organizations in the United States and Europe to continue the momentum toward a better understanding of thoracic genetic aortic conditions. In October 2020, the planned 3-year funding by the NIH ended and the Alliance was formally and financially incorporated within The Marfan Foundation ( https://www.marfan.org ), joining the Loeys-Dietz Syndrome Foundation and the Vascular-Ehlers Danlos Syndrome divisions. It is now fully powered by the Marfan Foundation and its unique staff, fundraising capabilities, and connection to aortic centers, clinics, scientists, and patients and families around the world. ",
