Abstract
Comparison of photodetachment images of I-CH3I with those of I- and I-CH3Cl over a range of wavelengths reveals generally similar spectral features but a strikingly different evolution of the photoelectron angular distributions. These measurements reveal the effect of intracluster electron scattering and in particular the influence of a vibrational Feshbach resonance on the angular distributions of the I-CH3I photodetachment.
