Abstract
Intersectionality has served as inspiration and model for multiple grassroots movements for decades and become lingua franca in the US movement sector, but has largely remained understudied by social movement scholars. This entry covers three aspects regarding intersectionality and movements: definitions; movement processes; and research praxis.
