Abstract
This chapter reviews the formation of a multidisciplinary approach to the minimally invasive treatment of vascular diseases by the merging academic practices in vascular surgery and interventional radiology. The focus is on the details of the issues that were evaluated and resolved that led to the formation of an integrated practice between the two specialties.
