N2 - This is the protocol for a review and there is no abstract. The objectives are as follows: To compare the effectiveness of ICDs with antiarrhythmic drugs, placebo, or usual care in reducing the risk of all-cause mortality, cardiovascular mortality, and adverse events in individuals at increased risk of sudden cardiac death due to cardiac ion channelopathies, including congenital long QT syndrome, congential short QT syndrome, Brugada syndrome and catecholaminergic polymorphic ventricular tachycardia.
