Imaging of endometrial polypoidal lesions of the uterus with Rad-Path correlation

Research output: Contribution to journalReview articlepeer-review

Abstract

Endometrial polypoidal lesions of the uterus are very commonly encountered, and may pose a diagnostic dilemma. Ultrasound is used for initial screening, with MRI being used for further characterization. This pictorial review elucidates the imaging appearances of various types of such polyps, along with the classical histopathological appearances. Understanding the imaging features is crucial for accurate diagnosis and management, although histopathological diagnosis remains the gold standard.
