Abstract

In this issue of Blood, Vérollet et al show that expression of the HIV-1-derived protein Nef alters the migratory mode adopted by macrophages, enhancing macrophage tissue infiltration and explaining the observed accumulation of tissueresident macrophages in some HIV-infected patients.1
