Abstract
An investigation of high pressure x-ray diffraction studies of quasicrystals was presented and discussed for icosahedral Al-Cu-Ru and Ti-Zr-Ni alloys. The difficulties encountered in doing the investigation was exemplified with the study of two quasicrystals, Al-Cu-Ru and Ti-Zr-Ni. The results showed that Ti-Zr-Ni could be more compressable after hydrogenation.
